One of my favorite ways to capture and work with that energy is to make a Solar Eclipse Elixir. This is a versatile magical preparation that you can use in several different ways, and it's simple enough to prepare during the eclipse itself so that it absorbs that potent energy directly.

What is Solar Eclipse Water?

Solar eclipse water is water that has been set out during a solar eclipse to absorb its energy. You can use any clean water — spring water is ideal. Set it outside or on a windowsill where it will be exposed to the eclipse, and allow it to charge for the duration of the event. This becomes the base of your elixir.

Here is how to create the elixir:

• ✦1 teaspoon of dried Hawthorn Berries
• ✦1 teaspoon of dried Rosebuds
• ✦2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

• ✦Allow infusing for 6–8 hours or overnight.
• ✦Use a strainer to remove the solids and extract the elixir.
• ✦Store your elixir in a small spray bottle or dropper container, waiting to use in whatever way you see fit.
