Who Am I?

I’m Loren, a practitioner with over 25 years of experience in the craft. Rooted in Norse and Celtic traditions, my work is built upon deep historical research and a passion for cord magic, botanical arts, and hands-on, earthy sorcery that feels truly alive. Through Primitive Witchery, I offer folk magic supplies meticulously handcrafted from authentic materials. Beyond the forge and garden, I am a 3rd-degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master, as well as a practitioner of Tuning Fork and Crystal healing.
I reside in the East Tennessee mountains alongside my partner, a bustling household of animals, and an ever-expanding apothecary garden where bundles of herbs hang from the rafters. I also dedicate time to volunteering at a local raptor sanctuary.
I am truly honored to welcome you into this space.

What is Primitive Witchery All About?

My shop, Primitive Witchery, grew out of my practice. Everything that I make here comes from the same place my personal magic does, from real research, real materials, and my love and respect for the spirits and nature around me.

I started out on Etsy so many years ago and quickly became the best seller for captured fairy light jars, maintaining a five star rating. I became a wholesaler for many shops and my spell bottles have been featured in Disney's Hocus Pocus 2. My book "The Crafty Witch's Guide to Cord Magic" is now published and available wherever books are sold.
