Who Am I?
I'm Loren, and I've been a practicing witch for over 25 years. My practice is rooted in Norse and Celtic traditions, grounded in history, and built around all the things that I love; cord magic, botanical craft, and arts and witchy crafting, plus I love the kind of magic that has dirt under its fingernails. I am also trained in 3rd degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, as well as Tuning Fork Healing, and Crystal healing.
I live in the mountains of East Tennessee with my forever love, a houseful of animals, and apothecary garden that keeps getting bigger, and more herbs drying in the rafters than is probably reasonable. I also volunteer my time working at a local raptor habitat.

What is Primitive Witchery All About?
My shop, Primitive Witchery, grew out of my practice. Everything that I make here comes from the same place my personal magic does, from real research, real materials, and my love and respect for the spirits and nature around me.
I started out on Etsy so many years ago and quickly became the best seller for captured fairy light jars, maintaining a five star rating. I became a wholesaler for many shops and my spell bottles have been featured in Disney's Hocus Pocus 2. My book "The Crafty Witch's Guide to Cord Magic" is now published and available wherever books are sold.
